Hello,

It is cool to use these kind of modern mini PC, although they are a bit too heavy and "thick".

Is there a model of OpenPandora or Pyra or (...) with integrated LAN Ethernet slot ?

Kind regards,
James

Not really, the only difference on the Pandora Models where that there where early CC whit 128 mb Ram, a bit more modern whit 256 mb Ram, and 1 ghz Units.. , but all of them use the same Set of Ports.. you could use a USB3 Ethernet Adapter, but on the Pyra, you have to put USB3 Stuff on the Non Blue USB Port...

To carry a USB => Net cable is bit a lot ... the machines are already 200-500 grams ...

On the Go, to using a Ethernet Cable, you need a quite big Cable Roll ^^
I dont think that a Ethernet would make much sense on the Pyra, as you dont make that much stuff where you need faster Internet than you can get whit WLAN, and you need to put your Internet of the USB2 Port which is also not that faster than WLAN..

So you want it thinner according to the other post you just made, and then make this post here to add an ethernet port which would take up way more PCB and port space than any other ports on any Pandora/Pyra devices.

So do you want it thin or not?

Mod mod mod mod.

Wonder if its possible to use the sata lanes for network.
