What are the best settings to rip a cd at? im new to ogg, i just want descent quality, 96 kbs is normally fine in mp3 for me so what should i do for ogg?

i used this ripper and the oggs that i have dont work on my gp, they crash it. noticed wen playing them in winamp that they are vbr, should they be cbr? If thats the case how do i get them to rip at a constant bitrate?

Dozer, I presume you're using Oggplayer v0.2
I had no trouble with VBR (quality) setting, but if you want to try CBR (which I've also tried) then just click on the tools icon, then select "Encoding" tab and click the "Bitrate" button and enter the same rate for maximum and minimum bitrates.
