I have to say, I always thought Australia was part of Australasia, which contained it plus New Zealand and accompanying islands. I suppose that could just be a name for the whole lot, though, as opposed to a technical continent.centrlink posted on May 7 2004 at 10:05 PM said:diablo2 posted on May 7 2004 at 09:09 PM said:what contenent is australia in?

And I can definitely confirm that New Zealand does exist, because I live there!
