I suggest to play something together. Something free... maybe Quake3, for example.
What do you think?

I'm still waiting for the rest of my family to wake up. It is already 08:12 here.
I would like it if I had a pandora wrapped up though.(it was my last year's only birthday present after all)

How about we spend the time with our family and/or friends instead of further sealing us out of the real world.

Big LOL. Love it!

I would love to have an original quake session. Unfortunately, I have a wife and kids and they won't let me!

Ah, how I love being a 15 year old, left alone to play with my presents. A Dreamcast, with 20 games, a Motorola Q, and a new laptop. Life is good, and me and my friends are already planning a Warsow New Years party!

You get too much. All I have is a big 1300VA battery.

So. Fucking. Jealous.

Well, I had my time I suppose now all I can do is re-live those times through th ngs like the Pandora.

What was I doing at Christmas when I was 15? Think I still had my Atari st then. Heh, 1990, (not?) so long ago.

Now I'm playing the new Mario brothers Wii game with my 5 year old.

Sorry, I've been boozing all day!

Nexuiz could be a valid choice too
In the spirit of open source that is the Pandora console, I second this nomination, and shame those that want to play a closed source, Windows only game.

Or the original? Hahah.

But that would require booting windows. Maybe not.

Just choose Warsow. That game is more fun than any of the others anyways, just because the rules are so simple and the game so challenging.

oh wow, i got a dreamcast too! or at least, thats what i spent my early xmas money on. £20 for a Dreamcast with 2 controllers, 2 VMU, power and video cables, sonic adventure, rayman 2 and ready to rumble boxing. the AV cable is fucked, so ive had to order a new one (one with composite av and svideo rather than the usual arial socketed ones) and i need some batteries then i'm good to go. pretty excited about it! spent a good hour cleaning up the unit i bought to make it shiny again. considering trying to get a setup together to take it online.

i also bought a PS2 slim on amazon used and new for £50. possibly risky but it was a power seller, with delivery from amazon, with a seemingly very honest returns for faults policy, so i feel ok about the risk. better than i do about ebay at least!

also, my friend is giving me his unwanted old xbox! 2010 is my year of gaming for sure! im an n64 and a saturn short of being able to play almost everything last generation and backwards (or will be when the panda arrives). now to invest in some quality games :D

yay christmas ^_^

I've found that UT2004 works almost perfectly in Wine (with one simple registry edit to make the mouse work properly), except that your gun will disappear at some point (after maybe 15 or 20 minutes of play, or it could be more, but it will happen at some point). After this you will still be able to pick up more weapons, but they won't be visible and you won't be able to fire them. Very odd. If I can manage to reproduce it consistently I could report it as a bug, I guess....
