"The NeoGeo console has always been a personal favourite of mine and I am delighted to be involved with the development of this new handheld console. We hope to re-ignite the excitement many of us felt 21 years ago, in a more affordable manner, to a much wider audience."
Good call. Merged.Maybe merge with http://boards.openpa...eogeo-portable/ and make title clearer?
NeoGeo X: a New Handheld Console
Good call. Merged.
That appears to be a dead link. What am I supposed to do?
For years, and possibly still even now, AtGames' Mega Drive handhelds (AtGames' stuff is distributed by Blaze over here), which actually run emulation software on an ARM SoC, randomly crashed whilst using TV-out, randomly crashed or reset whilst not using TV-out, had blatantly incorrect audio (not even in the "good enough" sort of range - it's noticably wrong), and the home-console versions whilst free of crashing and freezing could not emulate scanline effects such as those used for water that does not cover the screen (the whole screen would be coloured with the underwater palette). The built-in games on these devices appear to have been specifically chosen because they showcased the enormous flaws the least.Still a heavy price, they should at least include more newer NeoGeo Games, and NeoTurf Masters.
