Has anyone ever thought of this? I know there have been attempts for the GP32 but not for the GP2X...
An MP3/Audio player which also feature modular visual effects... something like the AVS plugins for Winamp except less cpu hoggingly...
Would definetely be cool! You can of course argue that it is quite unecessary for a MP3 player to have colorful FX whirrling around on a little 3" LCD screen... still it would be a neat way to waste precious battery time
Also: Does anyone remember Rayman 3? There was a level where you needed to guide rayman on some kind of a hover board through a warp tunnel... that also was filled with pretty groovy FX that reacted and morphed to the music... how is that for a skyroads like game? Could be done with simple Vector graphics, a bunch of sprites, plasma effects and simple vortex routines... no fancy 3d crap or high-res stuff, only plain old 256 colors (or maybe even 16bit if you really want to)... hmm calls for another suggestion!
