wow it can zoom!! -_-

Sorry for the sarcasm but I was expecting something a tad bit different.

I find that this version doesn't perform as well as the standard player - for example, in an episode of Family Guy, there's a panning shot at the beginning of the episode which is noticeably jerkier with the newer version. Anyone else experience anything similar? Is this performance difference possibly because I'm running the application from a bog-standard SD rather than the NAND?

How would renaming the file improve performance?

Looks nice! But for some reason, the audio/video sync is off compared with the normal 2.0 firmware's movie player. BTW this is using DivX files.

Rename it to gpe and run it from the Games menu.

(yes it matters, the menu is still running while it is .gpu!)

Don't question Linux..

I actually renamed it to .gpe the first time I tried it, but the performance was comparitively poor so I switched it back to .gpu and got exactly the same results.

I'm testing this latest version, but it is worse than the previous version
With the previous version I could play avi's with AC3!
Now it just gives the message "not supported file" :(
