i've recently built a SERIAL(EXT)<->MIDI adapter.

i've tested it with a palm pilot, now i want to test it with my gp32_console

however, i don't know of any applications that send or recieve midi data.

do you? :ph34r:

Sorry, I dont think there are any GP32 apps that can send or recieve MIDI data.

In fact, there are very few apps that can use the extension port at all :(

quiest, broken link ... but i don't think it's what i'm after. i want something that will spit midi messages out of the EXT port, or will watch the EXT port and give some indication of incoming midi messages.

or maybe it could do more advanced functions than that, but either of those would be at the root of the application ;)

hmm, from the gp32x.de file archive:

pbsynth-01a-gp32.zip

CHN

A really nice, classic synthesizer. Only thing I'm missing is the MIDI port on my GP32 ;) EDIT: CHN did it... he hooked up a standard Amiga MIDI interface to a GP32. You can find this on his page :)

the link to his page is broken. anyone know more about this???

My link was just the search result by selecting description and typing midi in EDs file archive. You found it yourself, it seems :D

Hello, I'm very interested in building that adapter and perhaps making some GP32 software to use it. Could you please post some info or link about the schema and components?
Thank you starpause.
