Memory Root

im new to the gp2x, and it will probably be a stupid question in some peoples minds,but what do you mean when you say copy to the root of a memory card?what is the root of a memory card :D :D

The initial, more external, the root folder :D. If you use Windows and your SD card is F:, the root folder is F:\ Easy, isn't it?

root in the context your talking about is the lowest level of a path.
The absolute lowest in unix is / and in windows drive:\, but it is used generically for paths.
For the sd card its everything contained in /mnt/sd or whatever drive letter windows assigns your card.
