M.a.m.e. High Score Thread

* ahem *

In your FACE, Finn!!

Super Pang! 356,150 (lvl 43)

Whoo hoo!!!

You know what would be really cool? A program run from the GP2X which when connected to your PC uploads the MAME .hi files to a website. The server program on the website merges your .hi results with existing recorded scores and gives you an option to save them locally back on your GP2X.

The website would display the high score tables for all to see as well as you having your own copy to try and beat.

Of course, it would need to work on the "honor system" as i'm sure it's possible to fudge .hi files.

:D

Penguin-Kun Wars - 739'300
( An absolutely underrated game. A little bit a childish look but imo gameplay wise one of the best arcade games ever! )

And Robotron - 119'700

Edit: Robotron 118'00 with two lives. And then accidently pulled the cable. Pff..

Updated'd!

Thanks for the tip 'bout Penguin-Kun Wars ... will try it out later :)

1942: 113430

Totally forgot about the cool co-pilot power up in this game!

Also rubbing it in a little to the non-GP32 owners who can't this high score yet! :p

AAANNNNDDDD

Time Pilot: 149,300

Got that big blue UFO at the end of stage 5! Yeah!

Tutankham: 29,900

It's actually a great game! Reminds me of Time Bandit on the old Tandy TRS-80 and Atari ST.

I also remember playing this at the local shops and being totally rubbish at it.
Also, it wasn't wired properly as the third button (smart bomb) was missing .

Thanks, Updated ...

Note: I'm about to try out 1942 in the latest MAME for GP2X .... if that bug is gone ... watch out, Slaanesh :p
