I have a pandora classic.
I have debian from sd working and want to implement some low power settings to extend the battery life. Right now the screen goes blank when it should but that is about all as far as power savings. The cpu does not slow down when the lid is closed or when the power button is pushed to the right for a moment.
I know this is taken care of in other OS's. Is it an issue that can be taken care of just at the script level or does it require a new kernel? I have copied some scripts from /usr/pandora/scripts/ that have to do with changing cpu usage. Is there a command needed at startup to get the ball rolling with these because they don't seem to do anything.
Thx.
