Or at the very least, be hard to connect to from modern browsers.

According to this, lots of certs are being revoked at 6pm UTC today. Included in that list is Thawte TLS RSA CA G1, which according to my web browser this site's certificate is based on. So if your browser suddenly starts saying it can't connect to an insecure server this evening you'll know what's up.

It should be fine, yes. They replaced the affected certificates a long time ago, shortly after google had announced that.
It's not the same thing as the revocation of long lived certificates, which was announced by google and mozilla in February. This is a fuckup by Digicert which was only discovered about a week ago, apparently, but in any case thus far (touch wood) we seem to be safe.
