This "ebay extraudinaire" wasn't the one buying the auction fuck face. I glanced at the price and shipping, and that's about it. If I were BUYING the item it would have been another story. I knew someone would say something, and here's the comment folks. Chill the fuck out Nova, im just joking around. No need to haemorrhage all over the place ;)

Course I knew it was a dud, but the point is firstly, I wasnt expecting him to throw his money away on it, and I wasnt insulting his intelligence by taking the piss.

DCGM: even from glancing at the price of the auction, you can tell that it is a fake. You are never gonna get a 60 gig video ipod for 100 bucks.

Everyone chill out. If anyone should be pissed, it should be me. I didn't send the money yet cuz I didn't have a good look at the page before I left for worlk so I just bought it now to save it. When I got home I checked it out and saw it was a fake. I obviously would not have sent the moeny wthout checking the whole page.

Still you should be slapped for using a player with a HARD DRIVE while skateboarding... buy a frikkin' flash based player and save your money... oh boy....

didn't you ever stop to think about the consequences of using a MECHANICAL drive while skateboarding thus exposing it to severe shocks, which can kill the drive quite easily?

You could try to replace the harddrive. And yeah - if you want to skate, get a flash based player!

Unfortunately, the "seller" now has the right to give you bad feedback.

He said it best. Never use a hard drive based player while doing anything physical (running, rollerskating, etc.); you'll just fuck it up and break it. You should def look into something flash-based. Not as much space available, sure, but they are sturdy and resisant to shock (which, in your case, is a must)

    good luck

    ok fair enough, but:

A- when I looked the auction wasnt over yet. I have bid on plenty of items where the price shot up over 100 bucks in a matter of minutes (recently I tried to win a photo printer and it shot up from 110 to 187 in it\'s final minutes. People bid at the end to try to win it. If it was a buy it now, It was completely possible that the shipping and \'required insurance\' would set the price well over the comfort zone for bidders.

b- I dont believe the currency was in US dollars (correct me if im wrong). If I were going to get the item, I would make sure I knew the total price with shipping and insurance converted over.

And Nova, with all due respect, I dont believe you posted that as a joke. I think you really thought it was a good deal, which is why you supplied the link.

Yea, it makes alot more sense to just get a flash mp3 player. The thing I really liked about the ipod was that it had really good playlist support. Anyone have any suggestions for a flash mp3 player with really good playlist support and expandibility in terms of memory?

wow Nova, your quite the intelligent one aren't you? The one you claim is a 'big no no' is one i feel is safe. the feedback is good, and the seller is in the US. The opening bid is decent, and shipping prices are better than good. With all due respect, you really need to stfu and never speak again. The one you think is 'real' is extremely over-priced. Please, stop talking.

edit: wow, he's offering some free shit with it. Awesome. Im sure I'd love everything that comes with it ;)

What the one where the guy claims to have a bunch of ipods, but no photos, and hardly any feedback?

Coltx: That looks a good player, and do i see an expandable memory?

he has 29 feedback imbecile. Just because someone doesnt have 100 or more doesnt mean anything. And it\'s not like he\'s asking for only cash or money orders, he also accfepts paypal, which is as safe as one could be on ebay. I\'ve dealt with PLENTY of deadbeat sellers, and all I have to do is holla at my bank and im fine. sorry, dude, but your 100% wrong on this one :)

edit: and in regards to no pictures, that too means nothing. Many dont have the time to tak pics, or even have a camera. Everyone knows what they\'re bidding on....

Yea, it does have expandible memory slot, which is exactly what im looking for in a flash player. That way when I upgrae I can use the SD cards for other devices (gp2x). Been reading reviews for it though and there is no playlist support to speak of.

Yeah well, I wouldn't bid for it, and nor would i mate that i showed it too.

Thats all i'm gonna say on it.

Oh, and Colt, have you considered the Ipod Nano? That is flash based, so skateboarding is fine with it. Short of that, i'd reccommend this, a mate of mine has one and it's got fantastic sound quality.

You know, I considered the Nano for a while, but I just couldn't get comfortable with it. The click wheel is too small for my taste and it feels rather flimsy. The iAudio you posted looks promising but I think im going to need more than 1GB of space. I might just end up getting the Nano though because of the playlist support.
