Well my little brother got the game (which is amazing) through from Ebay today, although I didn't realise it was a pirate copy.

Here's the superb translation on the back of the box.

Mario Mario Mustache #1 in the world! Mario super star and alround good plumber. Today he a high resolution polygon model in all his glory, but he started out as a 10 pixel (approx.) high sprite battling DK. Mario didn't beat Donkey Kong in the original game, but Mario's evolved a lot since then? (And so has his opponent Donkey kong Good old Donkey...He started out as quite a monstrous character posing on top of giant structures throwing barrels at people.

Spelling mistakes on box too.

did it come with an instruction booklet?
Alas no, else I would have enough material to take the piss out of all my life.

Damn, I remember I tried buying Pokemon Silver and Crystal ages ago from eBay and they were BOTH pirate copies. The Pokemon Silver was even dodgily translated. I knew this because a team rocket member told me to F off!

Hahaha!

I don't have any experience with pirate games like that. But I heard that there are pirated ports of GTA3 and Halo for gamecube that run very slowly, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Haha, brilliant :D . When I lived in India, I bought System Shock, a real copy (the only real copy out of about 600 games I bought there), it was the Indian release, but it was definately real. They made so many mistakes, they even managed to get the title wrong! They called it Ststem Shick! Well, the T is right next to the Y...

my friend bought pokemon diamond in china when he was like 8
