"16GB of which 256MB free for use"

what the hell... that's literally an absolutely insane amount of bloatware... that's more than some laptops

Yeah, it's actually Dutch... Oh, and Mini SD is different from Micro SD.

I was not aware there was a difference between dutch and german. I guess you learn something new every day.

Still doesn't make alot of sence but *more* than it did before

I would too but they've made 2 very big mistakes:

A. It's locked down, not an open machine, very bad, and on top of it,

B. They're a rather small company, i.e. no big releases (not going to be very many releases for that matter!)

But it's worth hacking, that's for sure. Homebrew would be pretty cool on that...

I think how it works is Conny=Tomy=Large Company.

I might be wrong.

They're pretty big, but only so big compared to, say, Nintendo... they're in about the same league as GPH.

I have it, it's sold in france under the name of "VideoJet PDC Touch".

Actually, the system absolutely does not have 16GB of memory as stated, but 16Gb with only 250MB user free...

Also, the french version uses 4*AAA rather than a lithium battery, and as you may guess, battery life is very short... GAMEGEAR 2.0 XD.

Accelerometer do work, but it's not as good as the Iphone one... feels more like a "Mercury Ball" mechanism than a real accelerometer (but maybe it's because the software are badly coded).

I can only access the 250MB of free user space, the rest of the memory is hidden...

EDIT: Found something interesting:

mi2.jpg

Built in memory on windows show up as 254MB, but there is also 174MB of unallocated memory... Total:432MB... don't know why... and I don't want that much to play with those partitions as I might end up with an expensive paperweight... -_-

Oh, so it's just like the "1Gb" of RAM that the Pandora has.

16 Gigabits is 2 GigaBytes. And apparently 2 GB in cheap Chinese bytes is 512 MB, which after you take out the bad sectors and the profit margins of the flash device makers... 432 MB?
