Pennsylvania Dutch is just a German dialect spoken by German immigrants.
Many similarities between German/Dutch/English. Being a somewhat proficient German speaker/reader and having no Dutch education other than being an English speaker, I can manage in Holland/Netherlands.
I would say a good bit of Dutch folk speak English from my travels outside of Amsterdam.
