That is the problem. It is almost impossible to have 2 batteries with the EXACT same charge. Things like contact pressure, oxidation, manufacture variations will surely mean that one battery would be slightly more charged than the other if only by a very slight amount. I don't know if that could be a problem.
Can the GP2X handle 3.7V? Or would the extra amount reduce the life of the unit?
