Java 8 only has hard-float versions of their runtime/JDK... Java 7 was the last to support a soft-float version that are Pandora compatible. Java 8 would work of course with Pandian or any other alternative OS that uses hard-float libraries and such... there just isn't a hard-float SGX driver other wise we most likely would be using a hard-float system long ago.
