If you go to the right places, you can get it cheap. I bought my chronotrigger from a pawn shop for 2 US dollars because I told them the game was crap, and that I just needed something to test my super nintendo with.
I bought Chrono Trigger back in the old days I paid 60 DM (which would equal about 30€) and it's the module, the maps and the instruction booklet. Stupid idiot completely covered the box in red tape though! Ah well. No use getting upset about it. Maybe I should add that it is extremely hard to get Chrono Trigger here in Germany as there never was a PAL Version. So, 100 is WAY too much.
