Am I missing something here??
Rather than buying a gp32 (suited to playing emulated games) and an ipod clone (suited to playing music) in order to play longer videos + have more roms.. would it not be better to buy a portable video player with a 20gig hard drive. I mean they're not expesive these days, they're suited to the purpose and I'm sure the video quality is a lot, lot better than what you'd get on a gp32.
Why walk around with 2 devices connected by a cable?? Or even shell out to buy a music player so you can watch longer videos.
It's like the equivalent of shelling out for a portable cd player with a cassette interface for old car stereos and then inserting that into your walkman and walking around listening to it.
??? You dont walk around with 2 devices connected at the same time.... and can a Portable Movie player emulate SNES, Genesis, SMS, Etc Etc Etc???? This IPod clone external HDD is only being used so far to copy upto 128mb to the SMC... Imagine saving all the latest GP32 programme's / Emulator's / Game's, Nearly Every ROM for the emulators, All your encoded Films, and have room for a few hours of music
You would only realy need 1 x 128MB SMC Card...
Make folders on the Device (If possible) like -
SNES - And put the SNES Emu on and Fill it with SNES Roms upto 120MB (To allow room for saving)
Genesis / Megadrive - And Put the Gen Emu and Fill it up with Roms
Etc Etc Etc
*Insert Name of Film here* - Put GPCinema and the Film into this folder
etc etc etc
then you can just transfer the console from the MP3 player to the GP32
