Integrated Software For Omega Devices

It doesn't work over here, I get a black screen. I use firmware 2.1.1, and I put the one file in the root of my SD.

i saw the video, and it sounds and looks Great :) .

but with the .gpe i also got a black screen and used the same settings as Alex.

What's the hell !!!!

It doesn't work for me also :(

It is really strange...

Check it Out (by GnostiC) doesn't work for me also: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=30004

Maybe it uses high overclocking? It is strange because my GP2X accepts 280 MHz overclocking...

I want to see these demos on the GP2X, the videos look good !!!

Maybe i should remove this thread from the gp32x news page ?

Hi, Franxis do you know that you can still run the demo using a gp2x app called: Enexfi ?

Get it here:
http://archive.gp2x.de/cgi-bin/cfiles.cgi?0,0,0,0,8,1888

Now run the demo with it using 200mhz (default), if it works at 200 try above speeds. (it works for me betwen 200 and 240mhz above that my gp2x crashs not only with this demo my gp2x can't go above 240mhz)

I hope it works this way with your GP2x

From start i get black screen too, but then i exit from GMenu and run demo from default os it work =)

It starts with a black screen where although if I wait much enough (10-20 seconds I think) then the demo starts.
With "Check this out" no matter how much I waited, it wouldn't start after the black screen.

It is too bad that the demo scene is so secretive about methods and such. It would be awesome if game designers could get their hands on some of the routines uses in these demos, especially the 3D stuff.

eh? what are you talking about? this demo uses basic software 3D rendering techniques. they have been known for a long time and are no secret. source code and theories for this kind of code are all over the internet.

it works on an F-100 over here. it's a nice thing. the gp2x is just acheing for demos! more more! :) cheers to the makers!

it still doesn't reach the level set by shitfaced clowns (on GBA of all platforms!) or of the lightsourced HDR scenes in the GP2X' "Payback" game but it's certainly a step in the right direction.
