I use Duracell 2500NiMH AA batteries and get about 4/4.5 hours of gaming(and if I Overclock its somewhat less.) They Joystick is not that great, its convex and your thumb will slip off easily. The tips of the saucer on the joystick are rather sharp and adds to the discomfort. However, the cap is interchangable, i hear DaveC's cap modification is rather nice, or you can make one yourself.
1) What kind of batteries do you have? Standard AA's give you about 1.5 hrs max, so you want rechargables. I have a set of 4 2000 mAH AA's that last around 2-2.5 hrs a pair. I'm looking for my 2500mAH batteries I bought a while back. Concensus is you can get 3.5-4hrs on a good pair of batteries like those.1. What's the Battery Life like?
2. How is the control?
I'll post more questions here as I think of them.

Are those the normal batteries I'd buy in a store?
If you don't know, don't buy. I love mine, but I enjoy playing games wherever. Most laptops have 2hours of battery life, yet everyone always has them plugged in, unless they are going on a trip, like a plane or something.

That's a lot of money, but some of this isn't necessarily... necessary. Figure in shipping, possibly an unbricking serial adapter, and you have quite a hefty bill.
