I Just Picked Up My Gp32. It's A Blu.

If you are gonna be using it at home get a 3v 300mA (or something like that) regulated DC adaptor.

Make sure you check the polarity, you'll probably have to swap it around, if you put in the wrong polarity it will blow a diode.

No it doesn't I've done it wrong loads of times. It just doesn't turn on. I wouldn't keep it on the wrong polarity for longer than about 10 seconds though, just in case something does happen...
Bu I have done this wrong plenty of times I assure you...

But its better to be safe than sorry, As everyone must know by now i was one of the unlucky one`s and fried my GP with the wrong polarity. It`s the luck of the draw, But why tempt fate.

ok...I picked up this recharger called Hama. It came with 4 rechargeable batteries at 2400 mah and it's a NiMH. I know It'll take longer to rechage, but don't care....I'm not going to play the system 24/7 so a longer recharge is fine.

How much time would I get from these batteries?

Use Opensnes9x version 0.2 Its so much faster than the lame v0.3 hehe.
you can get most games running at fullspeed 180 mhz fs1-2

Whats the Sources file for? like I said before, I'm still new to these emu's on gp32. I need both Binary (.FXE) and the Sources? Where do I put the Sources at?

Thanks

You don`t need the sources, These are for programmers, Just the fxe`s will do.

Good choice on the batteries, Not sure of the make but 2400mah is very good and not having the 15 mins charger, Your batteries will thank you for it. You should expect around 6-7 hours, Maybe more, But it depends on what you using the GP for and at what speed you are running it at.

Wait a minute... if he got a BLU, it's probably a BLU+, so why tell him to use OSNES9XGP v0.2, unless it was BLU+ fixed, and I somehow missed it?

Cool.

Wow...6 to 7 hours is great! I'll mostly use the gp32 for emu's. I have my psp for movies ;)

Thanks

are you completely sure? it won't say BLU+ on the box, that's just a name given to the new BLU's, I think started by someone from this forum, that have a different screen than the old ones. GamePark decided to change to a different screen manufacturer one day, and a lot of software was buggy with the new screens. Most of it has been fixed now though. just try osnes9xgp v0.2, and if you see this...

Then it's a BLU+, in which case you'll need to get a hold of the BLU+ fixed version of osnes9xgp v0.3. There's a greyish bar near the top of the screen that covers up whatever's supposed to appear there, and it's really annoying.

ok....I'll try It in a few hours....me and the wife are going out for dinner. when I come back I'll see if it does that. thanks. I guess I'll know now weather If It's a blu or blu+

thanks for the little bit of info.

well, if you can run DrMD perfectly on it's default settings, then you have a BLU...
If you have a BLU+ you have to switch the settings in DrMD to Samsung screen, AFAIK..
So, you should be able to test which BLU unit you have with that...since it's installed already
Also it can be used to see how fast your BLU/BLU+ will operate....

welcome to the scene! ;)

osnes .3 is superior to .2 when playing without sound. With sound enabled, however, .2 is far better, though you will need to run at a high clockspeed.

welcome :)

In the settings or DrMD it says LCD Samsung, then I switch it over to Taiwanese the DrMD logo on top goes to the bottom. and the rez gets a little blurry.

So far.....the emu's I have running already are....Genesis/DrMD, PC Engine/GPengine.v 04 & NES/Littlejohn. all work like a charm.

One thing on the Snes....I can't download Snes ver 0.2....The download page isn't working.

anybody have any link.

thanks
