Would a HTML viewer be hard to create? I think it might be a cool idea. I really could use it. What do you guys think?

lynx is opensource i think, there are also several outhers like mozilla or links...

dont remember links being a graphical viewer. if i recall it was only ascii. I dont know if that is what youre looking for though.

lynx is ascii but a hell of a lot easier to port than the behemoth of Gecko (Mozilla's rendering engine)!!

I suggest porting a WML viewer, and writing converters for PC that turn PDF, HTML or RTF to WML format. It's very simple to parse.

i thin pdf would be a bit slow, but correct me if iam wrong (xpdef opensource pdf viewer)
and yeah lynx and links are both ascii, and yeah mozilla would be also a bit slow :D
but is there any other one, perhaps i look on sf.net later.

PDF wouldn't be that bad. I had a version of acrobat reader on my Palm 3xe and it WAS slow, but I was very happy with it.

Yeah, and Acrobat Reader is pretty bloat-y compared to some other readers.

Remind me after I get ffplay done, and I'll attempt an xpdf port. :)

Hell, I'd try every port people request if only I had enough time. ;)
