How To Get Information About A Pnd?

I would like to find a command that prints out information about a pnd, like the standard mount-point. As far as i understand "pnd_info" should be for that, but beside the general description, i do not manage to find a syntax that lists anything else from the PND. Another program that manages to retrieve such information should be pndnotifyd since it creates the info-files in /usr/share/applications/. But i doubt that it can be used for just listing info on a single PND.

What's the right way to use pnd_info?
What other ways are there, that might bring up details about a PND(PXML) before mounting it?
 
no idea about pnd_info, but

grep "<PXML" pndname.pnd -azu
should give you the pxml - more or less
