Has anyone ever had this problem with a USB memory stick? It appears to work fine but whenever I put any movie files- .avis or .mpegs, they don't work for some reason. Everything else works fine though. Any ideas?
I get a message saying they are corrupted. If I try transferring them back onto a harddrive, they still don't work, so it can't be the read speed. Also, strangely, .wmv movies seem to work fine but .avi and .mpg movies don't! Damn picky sticks!

Sounds like your memstick is dying. Is probably the case that you wouldnt notice it with smaller files, but the bigger the files get, the more likely they are to hit one of the dead bits on the flash chip.
