The readme says :rolleyes: :

You need a directory roms/pcengine in the SD memory. You can create a
sub-directory level and put the roms (with .pce extension)

Examples:

roms/pcengine -> and put the roms
roms/pcengine/favorites ->and put the roms

invalid:

roms/mypcengine
roms/pcengine/favorites/thebest <-a level only!

The /roms/pcengine directories must be at the root of the card.

Thanks, but I still cannot get it to play Dracula X. Anything I'm missing?
If you mean the iso game, you need the CD bios rom syscard3.pce in the roms/pcengine directory.

Create a subdirectory for Dracula X under roms/pcengine and put your iso, wav and toc files, I recommend you encode the wav files in 22050 Hz 8 bits to improve the speed of the game.

The toc file contains the list of files used for your game, you can get an example here.

Select the toc file to launch the game.

Thanks guys, I've almost got it working. Could someone PM me with a link to donwload the syscard3.pce file?

One other thing; I cannot get the emu to recognize turbografix 16 rom files (it recognizes Dracula X but not Bonk or Splatterhouse). Anything special I need to do there? I have them in the roms file right alongiside Dracula X.

All right, I've download the Syscard3.pce file and placed it correctly in the roms directory. As well as the other syscard files. When I open GP2Xengine, this is what it looks like:
<draculax>
<img>
<saves>
Syscard1.pce.bz2
Syscard2.pce.bz2
Syscard3.pce.bz2

If I open Syscard3, I get a screen saying PC Engine Super cd-rom2 system ver 3.00. When I hit run it say's just a moment and stops there.

If I open the Dracula X file, it looks like this:

<..>
draculax.toc
track02.iso

And it still refuses to play the game. HELP.

I've got he normal games running can you please pm me the syscard3.pce file then i will try to work them games out.

It has been a while since i used this but as far as i remember you open the .toc file and not the iso to start the CD games.

i.e. run Gp2xengine as normal. In the list of roms you will see the DraculaX folder as you have described. Open this and select the Draculax.toc file and the game should work.

Hope this helps ..

When i select the syscard3.pce file it says push run button which assume is the start button i pressed that it says just a moment it stays there forever doesn't go further.

Please RTFM.

"For load ISO and TOC files: put a system card cdrom named: syscard.pce in /roms/pcengine"

It says place syscard.pce in roms folder, not syscard3.pce. I followed instructions and got it working on the first try.

I only copied track1.wav and track2.iso and edited a .toc

Leadin
track1.wav
track2.iso
Leadout

Selected .toc to run. No music, but it plays fine. This should work for you as well. Try again.

I can't find the syscard.pce file from anywhere, please can anyone pm this file to me.
