I am quite happy with the Pyra development.
ED got over all the difficulties without sacrificing features or promises to easier compromises.
@acid I have a tablet/ laptop combo too (Lenovo x230t) with all it's cool features etc.
But these devices are big, heavy (in comparison to the Pyra) and the battery runtime is not that good.
The Pyra (the 4G edition) will have a lot of use-cases for me, that no other device will be able to fullfil in all aspects.
I would have to compromise in one or more categories that I just don't want to.
So the "obvious" that you are pointing out seems to be obvious for your use case.
For me, and I think many others, it is not.
