So now the psp keys were found on the ps3. Essentially this breaks the psp wide open without the need for CFW. But considering the age (limitations) of the psp and the new iphone and android markets does this really matter?

Even if someone decides to try to create an independent psp market sony will shut them down immediately.

Might mean Linux? Some kind of Dingux style release?

Could you run Ginge on that, or does it use a lot of ARM code?

I would say ginge is all about passing arm code around between different arm-cpu-types, so it wouldn't run on mips.

like the psp hasnt been hacked to hell and back

the psp go has yet to be touched. That's been out for quite a while now.

With the keys hacked there's no need to install a CFW anymore which makes homebrew as simple as "download and run". That'a a pretty big deal.
