1) Load up virtualdub 1.51.
2) Load your movie in....
3) Loadvirtualdub gp32 settings file.
4) Click on compression and make sure it's set to Divx 4.12 codec.
5) Save the avi file and port it over to your gp32's divx directory..
6) Load up Zarjaz Jones's divx player, hit A and away you go
My little bit above was for the free DivX player....
Do a search for divx 412 codecs in google...Download and install them.....
When you click on compression in virtual dub you'll be able to select whichever ones you want from the ones already installed on your system
If you need the virtualdub processing settings for Divx let me know, cos they're slightly different to the ones needed for moviepark...
Has anyone had any luck with MovieLink? I am compressing a 700meg DiVX file I got from Kazaa, and it's now estimating it's going to take 2 days. That's on a 1.7ghz machine. Is that right???
when I try to compress stuff using the virtual dub settings file on this site then load it up in gpdivx it seems to work fine but when i go to play it the image it fliped so everything is backwards. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how do you fix it

That is a very long bloody time. I re-encoded a 700MB DivX file and it took my about 2 hours (2 hours max, I left the computer alone for 2 hours so I don't know if it finished sooner) on a 1.33ghz AMD with 1500MB worth of memory using XP Pro.
Hmmm - something is definitely wrong if it's taking that long. My AMD 1800+ takes about 6 mins to encode a Simpsons episode (about 21mins long) using virtualDub (much better quality - worth learning how to use). For a good guide, look in the guides on www.gp32emu.com
Also managed to encode fine using Movielink, but quality is crappier.
