Hi I have using virtuadub for ages to put movies onto my GP32 but the sound quality isn't always the best I think it could be. I have read the guide several times but now I just want opinions of how people get there own best results.
Most guides recommend 32kb/s @ 11025Hz stereo. You can improve the quality by going to 32kb/s @ 22050Hz mono. Also try increasing the Volume in Vdub to 200% - this gives you more flexibility with the GP32 vol control.
(Sam - don't be so rude to an honest question)
I personnally use 22KHz @ 64 kbps ABR (lame.exe --preset 64 --resample 22). That's good quality, 11 kHz is just too damn close to phone quality (8 kHz/ 8 bits per sample). But if you can stand it, just go for it
