I haven't reported here in a while, but my site and company (Mashmods.com) now has dimmer chips for the GP32 FLUs, and we recently started doing the voltage mod for people. There are three ways to install the chip, some manipulating the on/off switch to be used for example as a lock feature for the chip, or to turn both the light and the chip off. Anyhoo, I have only 10 chips ready for now, so check it out if you're curious here:

p.s. I hope this doesn't come off as spamming, I just wanted to let y'all know about some new GP32 stuff :).

 Yea the flu is great indoors but out doors, it's hard to see. Plus the flu light don't make a difference because of the sunlight. How would dimming the flu help tho?

I've got a bit of a request for a mod. Do you think you guys can have a mod for making the gp32 shaped like a pony?

Well I think that if it's possible to mod a GP32 to be shaped like a pink pony, then it really should be done!

One of the great things about this device is how hackable it is... and who knows, with all these experiments being done, maybe one day we'll come up with something useful :)

OK, so for a start I think you need a pony-shaped cake cutter and about a gallon of red food colouring. Place the food colouring in a metal container, and then put it in the oven at 200 degrees C. When it is boiling, place the GP32 in the food colouring (take out the batteries and SMC card first). Leave in the oven for about 45 minutes or until the GP32 is a little bit melted and can be reshaped by hand. Place on your benchtop and mould the GP32 into the cake cutter.

As always, I don't take any responsiblity for the results of following these instructions. But it should be easy, I think. Please let me know how you get on ;)

Something like this? ;)
