I have been fiddling around with a GameBoy Advance light I bought, but I don't think it will work. Does anyone know a light you can buy with external batteries (i.e. not connected to EXT port or anything, I mean completely external) that will work with the Gp32? It doesn't seem like the internal light kits are out and I don't really feel like soldering, so.... Thanks

or those light specs that Orbital wear when they gig live in the dark.

The "Flood Light" for the GBA works the best. It is a tiny fluorescent(sp) light with it's own batteries. You have to cut the little tabs off the top that mate with holes in the GBA. You can hold it on with rubber bands or velcro. It cost about $11USD.

I used the flood light as well, the only addition to the above post is: It works okay w/ just cutting off the little tabs, but to view the full screen you need to cut about 1/2 an inch out of the bottom of the view window. I've posted more detailed instructions on the forums before for exactly what I did but no pics.

Seriously, it works great - stays on well, lights the screen evenly and well. Only problem is it is slightly heavy (3 batteries).

I forgot who showed those little toothpick light things, but they look pretty cool, was awhile back tho, and I don't feel like going over the entire archive....
Also, there's this wormlight that was made for the NGPC that had to be attached to a battery pack that was given w/ it. I don't know if the battery pack would fit on the GP32... I'd try it out ... if only I could find the wormlight... AND my NGPC... AND my wonderswan.

Would you believe that my gamestore place thingy has plenty of old Colecos, Ataris, Nes's, SNES's, MegaDrives, TurboExpress's, Lynx's, and all of that crap, but not a SINGLE Swan Crystal, and nothing but B&W WS games ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
