ROFL THE WORD PENIS IS HILARIOUS!
Honestly, you should have researched before you bought. I actually do this for everything that I would consider important.
I knew all the cons and pros beforehand, including bad user freindlyness, LCD/scanline issues, joystick problems, poor battery life, limited movie player compatibility, random bricking, OS boottime (IT TAKES A LONG TIME BECAUSE IT IS LOADING LINUX!! LINUX=slow boottime just to let you know), just about everything, before buying it. I bought an SD card reader, and an 1 GB SD card beforehand, KNOWING it could not work with the GP2X and/nor be able to upgrade with it.
And you know what? I never had so much fun with a handheld in my entire life.
Also, this device is beta. GPH has not officially released this.
It's called consumer knowledge, in short. If you are surprised and ticked off by the GP2X, then it's your own fault. You should have checked beforehand what you get, and then made the decision if it's right for you.
All I can say about your complaints is this: too bad. Go sell it if you hate it so much. Right now, all of your arguments are just wasting space and reading time. These are issues we all know about, and we all deal with it. If you are expecting marketable quality, buy a Nintendo DS or PSP or something.
