Selling a GP2X with D-pad mod modded by EvilDragon, it has the center button mod too on the back of the GP2X.

Includes AC adaptor (without the power cable though), TV-out cable (S-video + audio), and carrying case (same size as a PSP carrying case).

The SD card's case is slightly cracked but the card still works:

You can see how it's cracked open slightly, and the white lock slider is loose (I've since taped it down):

Holding the SD card without prying the broken part open:

To be clear, the SD card WORKS, it's just slightly cracked.

Firmware 2.1.1 installed, no dead pixels and there's only one small ding on the screen that's hard to see unless you're looking for it. Also, the screen seems slightly dim to me, but I don't have a new GP2X to compare it to, but it's something to keep in mind. The rubber cover for the headphones jack is removed because I got tired of putting it back on, but the other 2 covers for the mini-USB/AC and EXT port are still on. OC's to about 266 MHz stable.

Price is still undetermined, I'd say we start off at $150 and go on from there.

I live in Hawaii. Usually the $ sign means U.S. dollars.

I think I'll be putting it up on eBay, more exposure that way. I'll link the auction once I get it up.

Kind of hard to see, but only North America uses the dollar sign with a single vertical line through it ($).

There are quite a few countries using $ (Australia, New zealand, and Canada would be the largest after the USA I'd guess, but there's lots more)

From wikipedia (and probably the same page you found that image) -

In addition to those countries of the world that use dollars or pesos, a number of other countries use the symbol $ to denote their currencies, including, but not limited to:

Hmm, I see. From my limited knowledge of world currencies, the U.S. is the only country that uses the $ sign solely. For example, in Canada they use CDN, and those Wikipedia links you've provided show usage like C$ or R$. In any case, this is about my GP2X, not about the semantics of using a $ sign :).

For example when I go to a shop here to buy something and they have the price listed the signs do not say $50AU they say $50.

How about next time you and the rest of your countrymen try to sell something on an international forum you list where you are instead of just assuming everybody on the internet is just from the US.

@ Ranma13

Do you plan to ship internationally, If so, Any idea`s how much delivery to london, UK would be ?.

Oh, And any links to your ebay auction for this yet ?.

Trooper

Hmm, I never considered shipping it internationally. I guess it's not a problem though.

I'll be posting up the eBay auction sometime today (it's currently noon in Hawaii).

And Iorgy77, please forgive my ignorance :). Next time I'll be sure to put ($599) US dollars.

Blasphemy! Everyone on the internet is from America! Not the U.S., mind you, America.

But, just assuming that all U.S. ... erm... peoples are the same is kinda, uh nationist or something.

By the way, Ranma13 I'd buy just about anything that was sold for five-hundred-ninety-nine U.S. dollors, especially if it played "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Racerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!".

im very much interested in this...I might bid on it but maybe we can work something off ebay. I have my happy first edition..what could be better than more than one gp2x. :D

I live in Ohio, so atleast thats not international

EDIT: ok, a question. What make/edition is it?

I really would like to buy this and will wait to bid on ebay so hopefully the price does not get to insane if a deal through the boards can not be worked out.

Normally I'd be willing to work out a deal with you excellent people on the forums (after all, with all that you've contributed, it'd only be natural that I contribute back by knocking off a few dollars). Unfortunately, I really need the money for tuition. Yeah I know, usual excuse to milk people for more money, but in this case it's actually real. I was calculating out my finances for the next school year to see if I could take a vacation in Europe, and after all my calculations were done, I thought I had enough money, so I went on the trip (by the way, it was awesome!). When I came back though and checked my bank account, it was off, so I did some recalculations and found out that I had added wrong and I was in fact short by about $700. And because I have to pay my tuition in less than a month, I'm in a mad crunch to sell off everything that I don't use on a daily basis (anybody want a cheap Zune? only defect is a mar on the screen).

So unfortunately, I have to try and get as much as I can from the auction. You can imagine that this wasn't an easy decision for me. After all, I even got the D-pad mod, which cost nearly $100 US. But alas, I'd rather be GP2X-less than miss a semester of school.

Oh yeah, forgot to answer your question, it's a Mk.2.

I'm not looking to steal it from you lol.. I know the worth of your unit and so do you. I'm also in the process of gathering money (collecting debts owed) but this isn't something I wanted to pass up. If you want I can wait a few days to see how the auction goes and make an offer above that.

Best of luck in making money. Sell plasma, sperm, etc...lol

How much do they cost new now...hmm...$200. Ok, I'll let mine go for $100. If you're interested, I can take pictures of it to show the blemish on the screen. Apart from that it works 100% fine.

Hmm, I'll take some pictures of it then. I was hesitant to put it up on eBay because there's about a billion other Zune auctions. Depending on how much I get for my GP2X, I'll either let it go for $100 or throw it up on eBay and try to get a little more.

On the plus side, it looks like I'll be able to pay tuition, as long as the GP2X and Zune get sold. I asked my boss for an advance paycheck and although she can't really do that (I work as a part-time student at the local university, so it's a government job), she offered to loan me some money, for which I'm very grateful for.

On the minus side, I'll have to eat instant ramen (we call it saimin here in Hawaii) and drink water for about two months before I can start buying real food again...
