Is some one encoutered this problem already? Is it a pernament mechanical damage...

I recall reading about this problem effecting mainly mainly mk1 units.

Found it in the wiki

Some GP2X users have reported that the joystick is not properly registering all directions, and that left is particularly unresponsive. A method to fix the joystick is to pull off the plastic cap, put a small bit of (black!) paper on the shaft then replace the cap. This lifts it slightly so it does not catch on the plastic of the case. It is much more responsive. Updating the firmware should also help in fixing this problem of the joystick not registering all directions.

Hmmm......I get this sometimes in some games, All of a sudden I can't go left, or its extremely hard to go left.

I usually think something is wrong, so I exit back to GMENU, and poof, it works fine, I can navigate all the menus just fine....I always thought it was the wierdest thing.....

WOW! I just changed cap from standart MK2 to "GP2X"- labeled one, and my stick began working as NEW!!!

There two ways why it happend:

1. My standart cap was somewhat damaged
2. By pulling cap out (it was hard) I fixed my stick

I hope that it can be of help to some same troubled f100 users :)
