Wow, that indeed does not work on the f200. From the doc I've looked at it used to just be pressing select on the f100. Presssing select does nothing on the f200 and pressing select and 'L' just goes to the previous track as if select was not pressed. Has anybody managed to turn the screen off in the built in player?
Regardless, I recommend installing a third-party music player as they in general have a much better feature set... Search the archive for craigamp, gmu, oldplay, or ommpc. However, currently if you want to turn the screen off ommpc is the only player supporting that on the f200. So although I generally don't push my own software on the boards, if turning off the screen is a priority, currently it's really the only option...
