Hi All,

For those who haven't seen previous versions, Caprice32 is one of
the best emulator of the Amstrad CPC home computer series running
on Windows and Unix, written by Ulrich Doewich.
This emulator faithfully imitates the CPC464, CPC664, and CPC6128 models
(see http://sourceforge.net/projects/caprice32)

What's new in version 1.3.0 :

- Games on disk are now automatically loaded on startup !
- Menu to explore the disk content and possibly load files with
Basic RUN" command
- Add several news options such as one to display (or not) the border
- Code cleaning

How to use it ? Everything is in the README file.

This package is under GPL Copyright, read COPYING file for more information about it.

You can download it on my bog : http://zx81.zx81.free.fr/

Enjoy,

Zx.

Thank you very much, since the last version this is my prefered CPC emulator :)

Great version!!!

render ULTRA, 200 MHZ clock, frameskip 0, fps 42 (stable) also with many games in MODE 1.

With TV OUT
render ULTRA,200 MHZ clock, frameskip 0, fps 50 (FULL SPEED) very strange, but is true.

A good emu AMSTRAD, ZX81 is a great coder, thank you. :)

thanks :), but credits remain to Ulrich Doewich who wrote Caprice32, and to KaosOverride for his great port to GP2X with hints i've used in this version.

Just thought i'd give feed back on this excellent release.

I started playing Colossal Adeventure from the Jewels of Darkness collection. I still have the box for this too.

The virtual keyboard works quite well although a little slow to use. It also seems to slow down the emulator, not sure if that is intentional though as I suppose it could be a good thing.

It's good that the buttons can be mapped and saved. I havnt tested this but just thinking aloud can the remapped keys be saved along with the snapshot or linked to the file's disk or tape image/zip

I havnt found any games that dont work yet. I tried Purple Saturn Day and Captain Blood as they were quite advanced, no problems at all.

So again thanks for keeping this emulator alive.

It's intentional to avoid graphical glitches. If i don't slow down the emu, we can see only the bottom part of the virtual keyboard, with many graphical glitches :( ...
