Question!

How would i go about rencoding an mkv file with subs inside the container? Is there a better way of doing this? does gp2x handle mkv files? maybe i can just rencode to mkv instead of avi. I tried to rencode it to avi and the file played fine but the subs wont work. =/

You can't use MKV on the GP2X right now. You can use soft-subs by naming them the exact same as the file.
the subs are in the in side of the MKV container... I'm not sure but you might be able to extract them some how

I see, so anyone know of any good program that can rip subs in batches from mkv files? I've found one app but it doesn't rip in batch and if i have to do them all 1 at a time i will go nuts =(
