right. ZipXP (that built in zipper in XP) shows me a file inside the zip file, however, it claims to be 3.99 Gb in size. But ZipGenius (great freeware Zipper/unzipper) works great.

The version on gp32x.de is created using ZipGenius ;)

Higher bit rate would mean better quality images per frame wouldnt it? so an old movie would not see and improvement but you could encode a movie again and have better clarity.

...theoretically.

Well, Quite a while ago and just for the fun of it, I encoded a short movie at 600 kbps (GP32 max recommended is 128 kbps) and it played flawlessly in GPCinema v1 and looked bloody brilliant. GPCinema was running at 166mhz while playing that file.

The extra Mhz options is for better frame rate, GPCinema v1 clocks at 166mhz max and can handle ~24 fps ish. 178mhz should in theory allow ~29 fps for all those ntsc films and programs. But don`t quote me on that. ;)

ive got loads of movies at 30
ive just tried my gp32, and this is the only app I can OC to above 166 in
thats pretty neat
but anyways, 30 frames runs a little choppy at 176 with 600 kb
I would have gone higher , but my damn 32 meg card is holding me back
I should get a 128 card

Just for your information:

I rezipped the file on GP32x File Archive, so it should now work for everyone.

Edit: Say, Han, how far have you overclocked that GP of yours, to make it run Doom3?  :)
Well, it took forever to get that barebone pc motherboard into the GP32 case. But now Doom3 and HL2 runs fine :D

Of course he's not... Water cooling wouldn't work, only way to cool it is to fill my bathtub with liquid nitrogen and sit in it when I play Doom3 :)
