You'd think that was the case, but the new plans
really are special. $25 for unlimited data and some text messages (doesn't say how many) and $35 for unlimited text and unlimited data. With the cheapest voice plan, you could have a G1 with unlimited internet for $55 a month. I'm paying
twice that with Verizon right now.
I believe you get 400 texts on the $25 plan. More texts than I'd need, really, if I had unlimited 3G data. Since my phone just has a WAP browser, though, the $5 a month internet works for me!
Seeing Android on the Pandora would be pretty interesting, but I agree that as a default OS it would leave much to be desired.
