Everyone loves the N64 GoldenEye, right?

I just saw the new trailer for GoldenEye: Source
It looks good, revamped graphics.

I don't believe thier is a Linux port at the moment, but those running Windows/Wine could give it a try
I'm going to try make time to try it later this evening myself

thanks for the info went and grabbed it after i saw your post needed to dl steam also and it also uses Source SDK Base 2007 and from what i was reading 2013 sdk is needed to run it on linux and would be a huge re coding. sad also no single player mode and no ai dev working with them so might not ever be :( the game looks great played a few rounds with just bots and had a blast

I haven't yet looked into this, just wanted to say that things like this make me happy.

If I can have Perfect Dark on Linux* you probably won't hear from me for a while. Add online multiplayer and I would probably have my, um, perfect game. If it would run on the Pyra I would be spamming everyone here to play with me.

*I tried it many years ago on an emulator and it was not up to my standards. I think there were issues with audio and video (I think the textures and such were messed up, but it was probably payable for some people). I kinda recall some slow downs too, but even playing it on real hardware has this problem sometimes. If things have improved and I can get decent quality on a Pyra with a N64 emu I will still be thrilled. @TrashyMG would you mind checking this game out for me, if it isn't too early on the software side of things, and you feel like it?

i enjoyed this game quite a bit, too. although, in retrospect, it was probably because i was better than the people i played against ;)

Aww the title suggested, that the source of GoldenEye is available now. :(
No Linux port either. :(
I never played the original since I can't play FPS on a controller.

Is it available DRM free?

@Klumpen Yes I see that about the title, blame them though for their name choice :)

I searched and there is no mention of DRM at all on their website
https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=drm+site:https://www.geshl2.com
Also searched their forum, and again no mention of DRM at all relating to this game, result appears 3 instances but those all relate to other games in the 'Off-Topic Lounge' board.
So just guessing, but I would imagine not, else they'd probably have some mention of that

The only indicator of the lack of DRM these days is a GOG-release, I expect some form of online authentification or client dependency in anything else since it has become the norm.
