@jbrodack - are you sure you have the latest version from the competition page? (w/ savestates, compo. splashscreen, etc.)

Anyone else try it w/ 1.4?

I've been using the latest competition entry gnuboy2x with the crmafs 0.0.4 fastboot firmware without any problems. I'd say apart from sram not being implemented it is pretty much the full package. TV-Out, choice of screen sizes, marquees etc...
Thanks K-teto.
On a side note, the previous version also worked for me under f/w 1.4.0 and cramfs 0.0.4.

No, use savestates...
Savestates > SRAM

I have the roms in the correct directory, they are all labled .gbc etc. But when I press start, the emu has no roms there, and when I press b, I go back to the main GP2x screen. I am running firmware 1.01 (or whatever the original firmware was).
Any ideas? Thanks

No matter which place I put the roms (either ./roms relative to Gnuboy2x.gpe or /roms/gameboy in the SD root), I can browse them just fine, but pressing B to start any of them kicks me back to the gp2x main menu.
For reference, I'm using cramfs 0.0.4 image, a fresh copy of the coding comp. release of gnuboy,
and roms that worked on the previous versions of gnuboy.
Any ideas? Should gnuboy itself be located somewhere specific on the SD card?
Thanks!
EDIT: cramfs version info

Just do what Rokdkasbah said. After pressing start when the emu loads, press select. You will see a load of options. At the top it will have the roms option, ie where to select them from. If you have the roms where they should be, you can toggle left and right to find them...
It worked for me...
I also had this problem, using an earlier version of cramfs. Have you upgraded to the latest (0.0.4) properly? Try doing the whole thing again.calqlater posted on Mar 1 2006 at 07:16 PM said:I'm having a problem with this as well.
