Gngeo Dunpgfx

Yes, and for some games you have to dump the game yourself - in the wiki.gp2x.org it is explained very well, in the general case you download an app put it in /roms and then run ./dumpgfx mslugx.zip. You get a mslugx.gfx and can now run the game. You can also edit the mslugx.zip file and make all *c* files to 0 size since they wont be used anymore. :)

okay so i put it in my roms folder of gngeo2x
then run a large (too large <_< ) rom i.e. any KOF (i heart 98 & 99)
and i automatically get a .gfx??
(i know of course once i get it i replace gfx files with dummies..)

EDIT: i just tried that (with samsho4) and it no worky :(

(help??)

thanks

i have gngeo2x it works with small games

i have the ability to read...

I'm trying to get:
samsho4.zip (with gfx 0kb dummies)
samsho4.gfx

can you help me??

I didn't know windows had dumpgfx. That's cool! Does it work any faster than on the GP2X?

a bit faster, if i remember correctly. but the convenience of having gngeo do it for you is hard to beat.

purple_goat: "i have dumpgfx it takes up space on my comp", i don't get what you mean...you mean you downloaded the windows binary and were able to do graphics dumps? if you haven't run it yet (sorry i just don't know exactly what you're saying) then keep in mind it's a console app. you need to run command prompt and then type dumpgfx and the name of the rom. i don't remember if you have to unzip it or not but i don't think you do.
