...Hi
Im not a newb ans I figured out something about GPCinema and GP32 features regarding Divx decoding
So those test were made with Vdub 1.5.4 (P4 opt) using DivX 4.12 [1 pass only]
Audio is a MP3 Mono 11KHz 16kbits
Video is 4.12 64kbits with 30 frames interval between keys

Then I made a 24, 23, ..., ..., 12 fps encode of this file and with Gspot I wrote out the bitrate for each file from 24 to 12 fps
I added to this value 16 (for tha audio) and I divided by 8 to know how many bytes

So after that I found that running at 133MHz the GP32 cant decode something higher than 32kB/s (video+audio)

I think that everyone should use Gspot to know the best fps settings.
If someone think this is not very clear enough just mail me and I will try to explain in another way :)

I really hope this will help people making good quality DivX for GP32 B)

Maybe I will also post here the results for a 2Pass encoded DivX
(but Im not using XviD at all so I dont know ... maybe its better but

see you ;)

You have been working hard Washo.
I've got GP Cinema running at 150mhz and my max combined data rate is 38 KB/S. If I go slightly over this I get choppy sound.
