Gbax Order Question

aw man!
so gbax will be the only that'll have the first batch?? so what about those of us that preordered with gp32z :(

I emailed GP32Z about that the other day, and he didn't think it was true. This is what he (David) wrote to me:

"We should be getting the Gp2x the same time as Craig does, but i'll double check for you."

Ultimately I think it depends on how many they're able to produce in the first weeks. I mean if they can only produce 1000 by mid october and they only have 500 preorders to fill no one will have to worry... but I have a feeling there's going to be more preorders than that so the question is how many they can build in the time remaining.

David from GP32Z wrote me again, here's the key part:

"Sorry I just checked with GPH and they said Craig signed a contract with them so GBAX will be getting the units before anyone else will. It may be 1-2 weeks later when we receive the units so you will most likely receive your unit in early November."

Fine for people in Britain and Europe, but for people in USA and Canada it sucks. GP32Z is the only place here to directly buy Gamepark stuff from. <_<

So if you really want one ASAP, GBAX is the only place for the first week or two it seems. However, it will be much more expensive than buying from GP32Z - the exchange rates are high and shipping/fees are high. I think I'll just be late to the party and go with my GP32Z pre-order.

Anyone do the math yet, on what the total cost to have a GPX2 sent to the USA from GBAX is? I know last time I looked (when I was shopping for my BLU) it would've cost me like ~$70 more to buy from GBAX than with GP32Z! I don't know how much more a GP2X will be, but I'm guessing enough to make it worth it just to wait and buy from GP32Z.

Finally USA have to handle with what Europe is used to, Getting later releases.

Now, now. You guys are used to much longer waits. This is only a week or two. :) So don't get all puffy n' stuff!

And how much would it be from GBAX to the USA I wonder? Probably more than most would want to pay for just a week or two earlier. If it was a matter of months, it might be different. A week or two isn't much, but it WILL be agonizing watching all the posts from people who already have theirs... <_<

LOL! Actually Craig is the evil genius in this movie. :p If only Austin Powers or James Bond had been there to stop that evil contract from being signed in Korea. But wait... Powers & Bond are British as well... I see, it's really payback for the American revolution. Damn you red coats! *shakes Yankee fist*
