hello everybody,

as im new to the gp32 scene i just wanted to contribute a few of my ideas.

I was wondering if, using the visual boy advanced emulator source for computer
would i be able to port it onto gp32 using visualc++ 6.0 and the gp32
devkit somehow? or would it require more modification?

i am only new to gp32 and haven't got one yet but i plan on getting it when i have
enough money. i live in Australia.

Also i have some experience in c++ if that helps. :)

thanx.

I think that it would be very easy, but no way a no ASM port and no optimization is going to go over 1fps :)

intresting 1st post old_macdonald, welcome to the scene :)

Im not sure if it was VBA but i think i read someone discussing this before somewhere and the outcome went that it wouldnt be all that straight forward.

Ill try find it and put a link up, in the meantime you could always dabble with it and see how it runs in GeePee?

if you got a compiled file you could post it here... so that all who have a gp32 could test it... not all programs run on the geepee

Bye

If you could code a GBA emulator, a lot of people would be very happy. For example, me. I'm going to buy a GP32, and if it emulates a popular still-on-the-market system, not just old ones, so much the better.
