were do you buy a power adapter that works well for gamepark because buying batteries gets too exspensive thanks for telling me what sight sells them and a store i live in california bye

lik-sang and gbax are probably the best ones, but any decent electronics store should sell them. Before buying one however, check the polarity off your gp32 - I think it's opposite (center negative) to how they normally connect (center positve). Most adaptors come with polarity changers now, but best make sure before buying, so you don't have to take it back.

Get a 3V one, about 300ma if you don't overclock, or more if you do (too much current doesn't matter, too little does). Only ever use 3V supplies however, and make sure they are regulated.

hmmm. I would suggest rechargables to be honest. Some 'all in one' variable voltage power supplies dont have plugs that fit properly. the plug tyoe is the same as the Game boy colour one. Personally I 'made one myeslf using the varable power supply unit and a GBC plug... :)

For those that live in the USA, just go to your local Radio Shack and ask for a plug that fits the Gamepark and 3.3v AC adapter, they'll fix you up. Be sure to bring your GP32 manual, as that has the polarity in it (if not, I think it's on the bottom).

I'm not sure of the European equivilent of chained gizmo hut, "Radio Shack".

Note that some Battery Chargers, especially ones from Radio Shack, double as AC adapters.

In the UK, "Maplins" is a shadow form of Radio Shack. They sell about 5% of the products, but they do sell the required adaptors and plugs.

i got the Uniross (300a) multi-voltage one but it made my gp32 have a "banding" effect on the screen. i presume this is because i am using it at 133Mhz most of the time and it needs more milliamps? anyone else experienced this?

i've just noticed the powersupply i am using is unregulated. That will probably explain why i am getting banding.

so, if you are going to buy one get a regulated one.

the multi-fit, multi-volt 300ma adapter I got doesnt fit my GP32... but i did originally get it for my guitar FX pedal so it doesnt matter... out of the 8 connectors it's got 7 are too big, and the other is too small so keeps falling out...

I'll get one eventually from a random electronics store... and whoever suggested Maplins for the UK... dude they're the most expensive electronics store you can find... their prices are about double most places! lol

Maplins ain't that bad, 75p for the correct connector can't really be sniffed at now can it?

ok i got my self a Adapter, but there sre some screen issues (i think its the same as skratchy has) with some kind of "Bars" moving from right to left (DOOM) or left to right (my emus). is this because its not regulated (i think its called stabielised, not regulated), and will those bars damage my GP32? would be nice if you could give me a fast reply.

hi i posted the post and the power adepter makes waves like you said we need a power adapter that works perfect for gamepark if you have the best one tell us thanks

ok, i went to my electronic store today and got my 220V in 3-12V out 500ma Adapter changed into one 220V in 1,5-12V out 300ma Stabilised and that one works great.
