I put this topic up right before the boards died, so I don't know if anyone saw it, but:
I just got the perfect power solution for my GP today. Go to Radio Shack and get the "Multi-Voltage Power Bank". It charges up to 4 AA NiMH batteries and doubles as a 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, and 9 volt power adapter. You also get to pick a plug to use which will be going into the system, so make sure you get "Adaptaplug A". Not including batteries, the whole thing costs roughly 16 bucks and works great.
I just figured I'd let everyone know since I've seen posts about people wondering where to get a decent power adapter for their GP. If you're going to look on Radio Shack's site, the product code is 273-1900, or so says the box.
