Still Fresh
Hello, I am trying to setup remote debugging on my GP2x with Firmware 2.0.
My host environment is Windows XP, and I am using the 30MB 'devkitgp2x' version for development.
Is there any special setup I need to get this working? I am using a USB connection, but I assume with FW 2.0 I should be able to do remote debugging as networking is now working. My biggest concern is of course the difference in architecture, but I am assuming this is workable -- as long as I have the source code and binaries etc on my host I should still be able to setup breakpoints etc.
Anyway I am quite new at all this and am used to Windows Mobile development where debugging is easy as pie (ie:start program, attach to process, step into ARM machine code).
Cheers,
Matt
